Complex software delivery
Architecture, backend services, APIs, integrations and internal platforms for production environments.
Artemis Digital Solutions provides software engineering and technical consultancy across cloud infrastructure, backend systems, DevOps, security and product development.
From modernising delivery pipelines to designing production services and infrastructure, Artemis helps organisations solve difficult engineering problems and ship reliable software.
Architecture, backend services, APIs, integrations and internal platforms for production environments.
AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, networking, identity, delivery pipelines and operational tooling.
MilSim.io is live and Cadia is in development, so the advice is grounded in systems Artemis builds and operates.
Software is only part of the system. Artemis works across application engineering, infrastructure, delivery, security and observability, solving problems that rarely fit neatly inside one discipline.
Designing and building production software with an emphasis on maintainable architecture, reliable backend systems and clean interfaces between services.
From isolated services to larger distributed platforms, Artemis can work across design, implementation and production delivery.
Building secure, repeatable infrastructure for production systems across cloud-native and enterprise environments.
Infrastructure should be reproducible, reviewable and understandable, not a collection of manual steps accumulated over time.
Improving the path from commit to production by reducing manual work, standardising delivery and giving engineers faster feedback.
The aim isn't more pipeline YAML. It's a delivery process engineers can trust and rarely need to think about.
Embedding security and quality controls directly into engineering workflows so issues are identified during development rather than after deployment.
Security works best when it becomes part of normal engineering practice rather than a separate gate at the end of delivery.
Designing systems that remain understandable when they're distributed across services, queues, infrastructure and large volumes of operational data.
When production behaviour is visible, failures become engineering problems instead of mysteries.
Senior engineering support for teams facing difficult architectural decisions, stalled projects or systems that have become harder to change than they should be.
Useful when you don't need another permanent team member, you need experienced engineering judgement applied to a specific problem.
Consultancy is only part of Artemis Digital Solutions. We also design, build and operate our own software products, which means technical decisions are informed by what happens after launch as well as what is needed to ship the first version.
Community infrastructure for the online milsim ecosystem.
Software platform for organised online communities, events and operations.
Observability infrastructure built for environments that need control of their data.
Cadia is being developed for organisations that require on-premise or privately hosted logging and telemetry infrastructure, making it a strong showcase for Artemis' distributed systems and observability experience.
Good engineering is not about using the newest technology available. It is about designing systems that are understandable, secure, observable and maintainable while allowing teams to keep delivering software.
Engineering time should go into delivery and architecture, not babysitting fragile process.
Logs, metrics, traces and audit trails should exist before the incident review does.
Controls belong inside delivery workflows, infrastructure design and system architecture.
Useful systems are understandable, operable and capable of surviving the team that launched them.
These environments often share the same engineering challenges: security, reliability, complex infrastructure, data processing and the need to deliver software without slowing development teams down.
Artemis Digital Solutions was founded by Ethan Mullan, a software engineer with experience across software development, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, security and product engineering.
His work spans enterprise engineering environments, startups, consultancy and independently developed software platforms. Alongside commercial engineering work, Ethan is undertaking doctoral research examining software engineering productivity and the impact of AI-assisted development on engineering quality, verification and accountability.
More about ArtemisTechnical range matters, but it should support the engineering story rather than dominate it.
